Brooke Robinson Benton, MD
Board-Certified Family Physician
Dr. Brooke Robinson Benton, a Fort Deposit native, is a national board-certified family physician with over a decade of experience. Dr. Benton attended the Lowndes County Public School where she received her educational foundation before attending and graduating from the Alabama School of Math and Science. In 2005, Dr. Robinson was awarded the Comprehensive Minority Student and Faculty Development Program Scholarship at University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). In 2009, she graduated from UAB with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Business Administration with University Honors. Dr. Robinson aspired to become a physician in her early childhood years and she tenaciously pursued that dream. In 2014, she earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Meharry Medical College and then completed family medicine residency at the University of Alabama.
Dr. Benton chose family medicine because of the variety of care that it affords her to provide to patients. She enjoys the opportunity to follow patients and their families through all stages of their lives. Dr. Benton manages acute and chronic conditions, while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Her key to success is trusting, acknowledging, and allowing God to direct her path.

The Capital City Medical Society, Snow Hill Christian Church,
American Academy of Family Physicians and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In 2023 she was recognized as a 40 under 40 recipient for CentrAL INC.
Dr. Robinson is married to Major Michael Benton and the couple has three daughters: Bella, Brooklynn and Berkleigh. In her spare time, Dr. Benton enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Katrina Harris, CRNP
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
With over a decade of experience in the healthcare field, Katrina Jones Harris is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University, and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Known for her empathetic nature and thoroughness, Katrina builds strong relationships with her patients, creating a trusting and supportive environment. She is actively involved in community health fairs and outreach programs to promote health education and awareness.
Outside of her professional career, Katrina enjoys being a self-proclaimed foodie, traveling, football, and spending time with friends and family. She is a member of
Advanced Practitioners for the River Region,
Capital City Medical Society, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and
Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama. Her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development ensures that she remains at the forefront of advancements in healthcare, continually enhancing her skills and knowledge to better serve patients.
